How to Add U.S. Holiday Calendar in Jam

Stay organized and never miss an important holiday again! You can easily add public holiday calendars from any country to your JAM Family Calendar. Below are the steps to add the U.S. holiday calendar, and instructions for those who want to add holidays from other countries as well.

How to Add the U.S. Holiday Calendar

1. Click Your Profile Icon

Start by clicking on your profile icon at the top right corner of your JAM Family Calendar.

2. Go to 'My Calendars'

• From the dropdown menu, select My Calendars.

3. Choose 'Add External Calendar'

• In the pop-up window, click Add External Calendar to add holidays from a public calendar.

5. Subscribe to a Public Calendar

To add U.S. holidays, paste the link below into the provided space:

• https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/en.usa%23holiday%40group.v.calendar.google.com/public/basic.ics

6. Name Your Calendar

• You can name this calendar (e.g., "U.S. Holidays") for easy reference.

7. Done!

• Click Add and the U.S. holidays will automatically show up on your JAM Family Calendar.

How to Add the from Other Countries

If you're not in the U.S. and would like to add holidays specific to your country, you can follow the same process but with a different .ics link. Here’s how:

1. Find the Public Calendar Link for Your Country

   Most countries offer a public holiday calendar in .ics format. Here are a few resources to find holiday calendars for other countries:

   • Google Calendar: Search for public holiday calendars by country. For example, you can find a holiday calendar for the Philippines here or for the UK here.

   • iCalShare: A website that provides free public holiday calendars for many countries. Visit iCalShare and search for your country’s holidays.

     
     

2. Get the .ics Link

   Once you’ve found the holiday calendar for your country, look for an option to subscribe or get the .ics link. This link is what you’ll use to add the calendar to your JAM Family Calendar.

   Follow the same instructions for adding a public calendar to your JAM Family Calendar (steps 1–7), but use the .ics link for your country’s holidays.
