How to Modify or Cancel your Jam Subscription

How can I change my plan from Monthly to Yearly?

You can always adjust or change your subscription.

  • If you signed up for Jam online (through Stripe): Go to Settings in My Profile/Manage Account. Click on Manage Subscription and you will be directed to be able to adjust your plan.
  • If you signed up through the App Store:
    • Go to Settings on your iPhone.
    • Click on your User Name at the top of the page.
    • Click on Subscriptions and select Jam.
    • You can adjust your subscription from there.
  • If you signed up through the Google Play Store: Launch the Google Play Store app on your Android device.
    • Access Your Account: Tap on your profile picture or the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top right corner.
    • Subscriptions: Select "Payments & subscriptions" from the menu, then tap on "Subscriptions."
    • You can adjust your subscription from there.
    • Select the Subscription: Find and select the subscription you want to cancel from the list.
    • Cancel Subscription: Tap on "Cancel subscription" and follow the on-screen instructions to confirm the cancellation.
  • Confirm: Follow any additional prompts to confirm the cancellation.

How can I cancel my Jam free trial or Jam membership?

We hate to see you go! To cancel your Jam membership or free trial see the following instructions:

  • If you signed up for Jam online (through Stripe): Go to Settings in My Profile/Manage Account within Jam. Click on Manage Subscription and then on Cancel Plan. (Please note: If you still have time left on your trial or membership package, you can continue to use Jam until that ends. )
  • If you signed up through the App Store:
    • Go to Settings on your iPhone.
    • Click on your User Name at the top of the page.
    • Click on Subscriptions and select Jam.
    • Click on Cancel Subscription.
  • If you signed up through the Google Play Store:
    • Access Your Account: Tap on your profile picture or the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top right corner.
    • Subscriptions: Select "Payments & subscriptions" from the menu, then tap on "Subscriptions."
    • Select the Subscription: Find and select the subscription you want to cancel from the list.

What is the difference between canceling and deactivating?

Deactivating deletes all your data from Jam permanently. (You can cancel your Jam trial or subscription without deactivating.) If you think you may want to try Jam again in the future, we suggest simply canceling so that if you sign up again, you can immediately jump back into your family profile.


How do I deactivate my account?

To deactivate your account go to Settings in My Profile/Manage Account and click Deactivate Account. (If you signed up for Jam through the App Store or Google Play store, you will also need to cancel your subscription through them).
