How to Connect your Apple Calendar


  1. Click on your profile icon and select “Connect External Calendars” from the menu and then Connect Calendars.

  1. Select Connect iCloud Account.

  1. Click the button that says Sign into Apple account.  

  1. You will be prompted to sign into your iCloud account.

  1. Once you have signed in, click on “App-Specific Passwords” within the Sign-In and Security section.

  1. Select “Generate an App-Specific Password” or click "+" next to passwords.

  1. Enter a nickname for the app-specific password (we suggest Jam so you know what it’s for). Then click “Create”.

  1. Enter the password for your iCloud account when prompted.

  1. Copy the 16-letter app-specific password.

  1. Return to the Jam screen and paste the app-specific password where prompted.

  1. Select which Apple Calendar you would like to connect to Jam. (You can connect multiple calendars, but must do so one at a time.)
  2. Select whether to SYNC or IMPORT your calendar. (Wondering which one to do? Check out the differences here.)
  3. You did it! You will receive a notification when you calendar is fully connected (this can take anywhere from a few minutes to 30 minutes depending on how dense the calendar is).
