I downloaded Jam, what should I do next?

Welcome to Jam! Let's get you up and running!

1. Add all your Family Members to your Jam Fam Profile

The Jam Calendar system works best when your profile includes ALL your family members, even ones who may not interact with Jam. Go to My Profile and Click Manage My Family to add any family members you may have missed during registration. (Yes, that means kids, too!)

For family members that will be using Jam (like a partner), include their email address. They will be sent an invite from you so they can access and join your Jam Fam.

2. Enter a few events

Check out what makes Jam calendars designed specifically for families. You can add new events by clicking the + button or clicking anywhere in the calendar. When you create the event, you can select which family members are included, things to bring and even tag a parent driver. If your kids have recurring sports practices and extracurriculars, it's easy to load them in this way.

3. Get your External Calendars connected

Next, let's connect any calendars you already have. You can sync work calendars, import family calendars and get all your existing events loaded into Jam in just a few minutes.

4. Get Jam on all your Devices + Easy to Find

Jam can be used on your mobile phone, tablet or computer/laptop and syncs across all your devices.

Here's a few tips and tricks to make sure your Jam is set up for success:

• Enable Push Notifications for Jam on your mobile device so you receive event and To Do reminders and notifications.
• Move your Jam App to your home screen to get to it quickly
• Bookmark Jam on your browser and add to the Bookmark bar for easy access.
• Get Jam on your Computer
• Get Jam on your Mobile or Tablet

5. Try Jam On It

With Jam On It, simply forward all your events to Jam and they'll auto-populate on your calendar.

• Find an email with any event details (school newsletters, sports schedules, group plan emails, travel plans) and
• Forward it to go@jamfamilycalendar.com.
• You'll get a notification once your events are in Jam and ready to review.

6. Get your To Do List Started

The Jam To Do Lists are accessible to all family members and helps everyone know what needs to get done and when. Enter a few of your most pressing To Do list items — you can delegate to family members and assign due dates. (If you assign a due date, you will receive reminders and it will pop up in your calendar automatically too!)
